DAY 01 - From Rome to Naples, Pompei, Sorrento

Leaving Rome at 06.45am approx and travelling on the Autostrada del Sole, we drive through the Regions of Lazio and Campania. Arriving in Naples, a short panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. After a short visit to a Cameo and Coral Factory, arrival in Pompei. You will then have a tour of the ruins of this famous Roman city destroyed in 79AD by the eruption of Mt Vesuvious. You will see the frescoes, Dancing Fawn and petrified bodies. After lunch in a typical restaurant, proceed along the coast to Sorrento, a jewel of the Sorrentine Peninsula, famous for the cultivation of oranges, lemons and olive trees. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 02 - Sorrento

DAY 03 - Sorrento, Capri

At 08.30am departure by boat for the beautiful island of Capri. A short panoramic tour of the island (not included the Blue Grotto). Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04 - Capri

Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful island, to plunge into the limpid water, or, for an optional trip to the Blue Grotto, the village of Anacapri, a tiny and picturesque mediterranean style village with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples.

DAY 05 - Capri, Rome

Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. Transfer to Naples early in the afternoon (at 4-4.30pm approx) where we shall start our trip back to Rome. Traffic permitting, arrival into Rome is estimated at 9.00pm.
