One day in Rome thru the Ages and Colosseum
PIAZZA DI SPAGNA - TREVI FOUNTAIN - PANTHEON - PIAZZA NAVONA - CAPITOL - ROMAN FORUM - COLOSSEUM - ST PETER IN CHAINS
The tour will pass by the Moses Fountain and Piazza della Repubblica. We will arrive at the Via Sistina where we will leave the bus to start a stroll Through the Ages of the historical centre. Starting at the Spanish Steps with the famous fountain la Barcaccia by Pietro Bernini.
The tour then heads to the beautiful Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel. Then to the Pantheon ("The Temple of all the Gods") with its inspirational dome. At the end of the walk we will arrive at Piazza Navona built on the ruins of Domitian's Circus with the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers masterpiece by Bernini.

After lunch the tour will continue with the sites of the Classic Roman Empire. The tour will then head to Piazza Venezia with the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then a visit of the Capitoline Piazza, the result of Michelangelo's genius. The piazza is the seat of Rome Town Hall and the site of the famous statue of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius. From here you will enjoy a unique view of the Forum and the Palatine Hill.
We will then enter the Roman Forum to include the Curia, the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Constantine. The tour will continue with a wonderful visit inside the Colosseum originally used for gladiatorial contests. The amphitheatre, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire, was completed in 80 AD under Titus. Finally we will visit the Church of St Peter in Chains with the famous Moses by Michelangelo.
