After throwing your coins into the fountain thus ensuring
your return to Rome, we will head to the magnificent ancient Pagan Temple of
the Pantheon. From here we will take in the famous Piazza Venezia where the
Monument of Victor Emmanuel dominates the skyline and your guide will
explain why it is so controversial for present day Romans.
See the famous balcony where Mussolini declared war, the home of Napoleon
and where Michelangelo died. Passing by an early Roman apartment
building dating to 2AD we head up to the Capitoline Hill designed by
Michelangelo for an incredible view of night-time Rome.
From here a stroll will take us to Piazza Navona to see the beautiful
Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini and the Church of
St Agnes by Borromini. We will end the tour in this most
charming piazza in Rome, home of street entertainment and
